Twitterpation

We've had quite a few little visitors in our yard lately, and as Friend Owl would say, they're all rather twitterpated.  Maggie's had a blast spotting them in our yard, and I don't mind if they're there as long as they don't destroy my garden.

I have a fascination with growing things.  I really should have minored in horticulture.  Did you know you can grow a pineapple by twisting the top off, removing the bottom inch of leaves, and sticking it in water?  After it roots, plant it in some potting soil and you're well on your way to a pineapple plant.  If I'm lucky I'll get a pineapple out of it in three or fours years :)  My Mom and Mother-in-law are growing one too, so between the three of us we should have pretty good odds, right?  Ha ha.
There's only nine days (or less) left until my big reveal.  I can't wait!  I might be more excited for Father's Day than Jonathan :)

Hey I am sure you know the bunnies will eat your garden. :) YOu can buy blood meal at any garden store and it is a fertilizer and will keep all vegetarian animals away - you just sprinkle it around the plants. It can attract crows though if you have them around. We hope to see you guys soon.
