Play by Play

Maggie's birthday was great. Here's a little play by play of the birthday action:

Opening presents:

Before everyone came over I had Maggie's presents on the couch. I didn't think she could reach any of them, but I came into the living room to find her ripping the paper off of one of her presents. I guess she couldn't wait to start :) After she opened the doll and stroller she really didn't have much interest in the other gifts, so we unwrapped them for her. She loved her doll and stroller!

She loves her other gifts too, she just had to take a break from the stroller to realize it. (Sorry the video is sideways)

The gifts:

  • Doll, stroller, "I Love You as Much" book, and "Petting Farm" book from Daddy and Mommy.

  • Clingo blocks from Aunts Julieanne and Lori.

  • White bear, bath-sketball toys, and pink sweatshirt that Mommy wore when she was little from Grandma and Granddad.

  • "A is for Ark" book, mirror, and hair-clips from Grandma and Grandpa.

  • And a "My First 100 Animals" book from Aunt Lisa (not shown because it's still in the mail.)

Thanks everyone!

The Cake:

The Birthday Girl Eating Cake:
She really tried to shove it in there! Her face stayed pretty clean though. Here she is wiping the crumbs off her face/making a goofy face. Doesn't she have such remarkable manners?
