Maggie can now pull herself up to a standing position with the assistance of the couch. Then she tries to take steps to move herself around. I have a feeling she'll be walking soon. Didn't she just barely start crawling?
She has the bruises to prove her mobility too. Yesterday she crawled into the kitchen and opened the Tupperware drawer (her new favorite thing to do). Then she tried to use the open drawer as an aid to stand up. This of course caused the drawer to quickly slide shut without any mercy on the fingers that were holding onto the drawer. Poor thing cried for a long time and I don't blame her. I've shut my finger in a drawer before and it hurt like the dickens. She shut all ten fingers in the drawer.

HOLY COW! She does need to slow down! It does sound like she will be walking very soon--when she starts walking along the furniture then you know you are in trouble. What a fun stage--she is so darling!
yikes! they do grow up so fast...it's pretty nice when they start to walk just because you don't have to carry them around everywhere!
You'll have to keep us updated on the first steps!
Oh they grow so dang fast, just enjoy every little minute with that cutie pie. So so fun!
