Strolls

I couldn't have asked for better weather these past few days. So to take advantage of it, Maggie and I have been going on a walk every day. It's fun to watch her explore this new world called "outside." Poor thing has pretty much been inside since she was born because it was always too cold outside. Not any more.

I think she'll be an animal lover just like me. Today we walked out to the horses and Sally came up and nuzzled her hand. She got the biggest smile on her face. During our photo shoot on the lawn one of the cats walked up to her and she loved that too...especially its tail. Then there's our crazy dogs. Maggie always looks at them like she's not quite sure what to think...probably because that's how I look at them too. When Duke was little I taught him how to jump through a hula-hoop. I was having him perform for Maggie and she thought it was hilarious.

Other than playing outside I have been busy working on that wedding cake. I made a ton of fondant and icing today. Tomorrow I'll bake all the cakes (6). Friday I'll assemble as much as I can and Saturday I'll do all the finishing touches. I am really glad I took that cake decorating class. It is turning into a nice way for me to make a little extra money. I have a birthday cake due a week from Friday so I'll probably post a picture of that too. I hope you're having nice weather as well.

What a little cutie...I am sure growing up on a farm she will definitely be an animal lover like her mama!

I can't wait to see your cakes!

ahh your little girl is precious! We are living in Eden Prairie, so not too far from your sister! How does she like it? Last summer we lived in Eagan.

Oh Maggie is adorable Janessa!
I think I am going to do my masters in nutrition science and be a dietician. I just don't know where or when yet! Ha ha
