I Lied....

I know, I know. I said I wouldn't post any more crafty stuff on this blog, but I need your opinion. I am posting here because I'm pretty sure people read this blog, but I am yet to find out if any one reads my crafty blog. So for one last time I will post a crafty item here. I am thinking about starting an etsy shop, but I am not sure how much to charge for some items. Granted, I know these booties probably aren't your style, but if they were how much would you be willing to pay for them? They are genuine Italian lambskin so they are extra soft for baby's feet and they are completely homemade. They could be made in pretty much any color combination. I've seen similar items for $25, but they either weren't leather or they weren't homemade. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
If I do end up starting an etsy shop I will use it to sell quilts, photographs, baby stuff, leatherwork, and whatever else I make. Then I will have an excuse to make things and I can earn a little money to support my habit:o) It is still in the works. I need to make a bunch of stuff first to make it worth it, but then I'm scared nothing will sell. Plus, who knows if I'll have time to craft after the baby comes. I'll keep you posted.

oh man, people really eat that stuff up. If I sold those in my boutique they would be for around $30-35. You have to remember too that mose people who will buy from an etsy shop will probably not me Mormon and will probably only have one or two kids...thus they have more income to spend on adorable things like little cowboy boots!

I would test the waters and list them at $30. I they don't sell you can always knock the price down.

good luck, let us know what you do!

okay, first things first...did you make those? Cause if you did, you really are amazing!! Okay, and second - I would have to agree with Jill. Probably 30-35.00 would be good!
