She is having a western wedding and just wants a cake for them to cut. She gave me the cute cake topper to use and she wants me to use the horseshe pan. Her colors are lime green, aqua, and hot pink (the colors in the pictures don't show up quite right.) That's pretty much all the details she's given me. She didn't have anything specific in mind as far as the decorations on the cake goes. So I made this one for practice and to give her an idea of what it could look like. I am still waiting to hear back from her. Obviously there are a few mistakes that I will fix (like the bottom border having problems, the drapes being uneven, and smudged frosting.) So let me know what you honestly think. I think I might have had so many ideas that I over did it. The rope border around the top edge is there to stay, I don't know about everything else. I added the drapes to make it look more like a wedding cake, but I'm not sure they're totally in style. Please help me! I want it to look nice, not tacky:-) Her wedding is on the 11th. I'll make sure to post pictures of the final cake after that.

My Latest Project(s)
I've got projects coming out of my ears! It's my own fault though. I should probably take life one project at a time because the house is a mess! I start one project and need a break from it so I start another one. I guess I like variety too much. The problem is I don't feel like I can clean a project up until it's finished, so I have everything I need for three different projects laying around waiting for me to use them. The sewing/craft room is the worst! It looks like a tornado went through it. There's fabric and pattern pieces laid out on the floor, pieces of thread every where, and scrapbooking stuff in a pile. On the bright side I'm not bored and I can count on one more big project once everything is done...cleaning it all up! Currently I am sewing a diaper bag, making two bridles that my brother-in-law ordered from us, trying to finish the saddle, and I'm making my friend's wedding cake. The latter is what I need your advice on.
