I had a wedding cake order for a western wedding cake. The bride decided on a simple horseshoe cake with a few purple flowers on top. Man, did I ever struggle with getting the buttercream smooth and getting the borders to work. I don't know why it was such a battle this time. It made me wonder how I made one of these cakes while I was pregnant last summer. Then again, I'll probably look back and wonder how I made this with a little girl crawling and getting into everything :)

Beautiful!! Good Job! We have been having fun doing lots of birthday cakes. It is fun, but holy cow, with a 15 month old, almost impossible!! When i get a cake blog up and running I will have to let you know!!! Well done!
