Questions

Why is it that I've gone nearly six months without ever needing to use the emergency change of clothes for Maggie that are in the diaper bag and the one day I take them out and forget to put them back Maggie has a major surprise for me while we are running errands half an hour from home?

Why is it that one of the outfits I love the most is the one that constantly gets spat-up on, pooped on, or mysteriously dirty, while other outfits seem to go weeks without even getting so much as a drop of drool on them?

Why is it that right after I sweep and mop the floor something sticky falls out of the fridge and spills all over?

Why is it that the days I don't get ready I see nearly everyone I know?

Why is it that the days I go all out cooking for my husband he ends up not being very hungry? Or when I have supper ready for right when he gets home, and then that night something happens and he has to work late?

How about the times in college when I'd work my tail off on a project and stay up late to get it finished and then show up to find out that class was either canceled or the teacher decided to postpone the due date to accommodate all the slackers?

Why is it when I save up for something I really want and I finally decide to buy it, a week later it goes on sale for a way better price and I can't return it to get the better price?

Why does my child make the most awkward bodily noises in the most quiet and reverent of places?

Can anyone else relate?

Ha! This is so funny! In fact my mom just left a comment on my blog saying it's just lifes way of showing you that you are never really in control. This is EXACTLY how it seems to happen. I live on the top floor in a condo so it's harder to wash my windows, but without fail it rains that week when I can wash them. Or, I wash the reds only to find that Travis wore his red shirt. If you ever figure out ways around life PLEASE let me in on it!

You are so right Janessa, I agree, why do they make those little noises right in the middle of a prayer or something, but you just have to laugh because EVERYONE goes through it! Good thing she is so dang cute!

Oh... Isn't it a beautiful life! (-: One thing I love about babies is that they do their bodily functions whenever they feel like it. Wouldn't it be funny if that's how it still was (-: Sure seems like life just likes to play tricks on ya.
