The Final Product:

My friend decided she wanted the borders and drapes white to make it look more elegant. So I changed that about the cake, but everything else stayed the same. The reception was about an hour and a half away and I forgot that part of that drive was a construction zone with gigantic bumps. I said a lot of prayers that the cake would make it there safely! It almost didn't make it out of the driveway, and I about had a heart attack! It wasn't attached to the stand at all so it was trying to slide. I ended up holding it at the bottom the whole way there so it couldn't slide. Jonathan was a sweetheart and drove me there so I could take care of the cake. I attached the bottom border when we got there. I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
