- Change the light in the dining room...it is a flush mount fixture without any type of visible hardware and for the life of us we cannot figure out how to get to the light bulb--Does anyone have a light like this? We can't see anything in there so it's candle light dinner every night :-)

1. Where did you meet your husband? At BYU-Idaho in our singles ward, but we didn't meet at church, we met at a ward social.
2. How long did you date? We dated about 7 months before we got engaged (practically a BYU-Idaho record!) and then we were engaged for 4 months.
3. How long have you been married? 3 1/2 years
4. What does he do that surprises you? His quick-wittiness surprises me sometimes, and he loves to scare me, that ALWAYS surprises me!
5. What is your favorite feature of his? His smile and his good looks.
6. What is his best quality? Probably his work ethic. He is a very hard worker!
7. Does he have a nick name for you? Usually he just calls me hun.
8. What is his favorite food? Homemade bread, good beef, home cooked meals.
9. What is his favorite sport? Football and rodeo
10. When and where was your first kiss? Ha! On his couch at his apartment after I made it very clear that I wanted our first kiss to be somewhere special. Then I couldn't resist him any more so I leaned in and he was scared to death of me so he kept backing away from my kiss because his apartment was not "somewhere special."
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Play with Maggie, be outside doing something fun.
12. Do you have children? Our little girl, Maggie
3. Does he have hidden talents? He speaks xhosa (pronounce "click-o-suh"), which he doesn't like me to tell people. It is an instant mood lifter though to hear him talk in it. He also knows how to play that game with the elastic wrapped between your fingers where you do cats cradle and jacob's latter and stuff (I'm not sure what it's called)--I was shocked when I was just goofing around one day with it and he took it off my fingers and knew how to do it. Pretty impressive for a guy that didn't grow up with any sisters.
14. How old is he? 27
15. Who said I love you first? He did
16. His favorite music? Country and a little rock
17. What do you admire most about him? The way he takes care of his family and his work ethic
18. What is his favorite color? One he can tell the difference between :-) I think he likes blue.
19. Will he read this? Yeah, and I might pay for it later:-) I hope all my answers are accurate.
20. Who do you tag? Whoever.

janessa about the light fixture if it is what i think it is. If there is a little spoke thingy in the middle sticking out. It unscrews and that is how the bowl comes off to get to the light bulb. I hope this helped if that is the kind of light that it is! Have a merry christmas!
We have one like that in the living room. The dining room light doesn't have anything sticking out of it, it looks like the one here: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100138756
We've tried unswcrewing the glass or pulling down the base, but to no avail. Thanks for the help though :-)
hey i tried to look at that website and it didnt work! But i am wondering if it is like the ones my mom has (atleast i think she has them) and they just got them and put them in. They dont have anything sticking out either and there isnt any screws on the base or anything. Does it look like this at all? not the exact one my mom has but looks just like it just a different finish i believe. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100147230&N=10000003+90401+500910. Just trying to help I know how frustrating something like this can be! lol ;)
yeah, it's just like that. we can't get the glass to un-twist if it's a "twist lock" I've heard some are on a hinge with a spring and you have to pry the whole thing down from the ceiling with a screwdriver...that didn't work either. It's a pretty light, but what's the point if you can't change the bulbs?
yeah i was going to say that it just untwists itself, but if thats not working than i dont know! stupid light! that has got to be frustrating! good luck though!
